Training
Luke completed his undergraduate degree and Master of Clinical Psychology at the Australian National University in Canberra. He has undergone further training in DBT, Schema Therapy and EMDR, as well as advanced training in both CBT and ACT for a wide range of problems. He is registered with the psychology board of Australia and is authorised to provide medical services under Medicare.
Clinical Experience
Luke has over 6 years’ experience working as a psychologist in a variety of settings including university clinics, counselling centres, acute care services and public community mental health teams. He has previously helped run the DBT program at a public health centre for nearly three years and has a strong interest in helping people with personality disorders, emotional regulation difficulties, and relationship concerns. Luke has worked frequently with people with complex problems, including trauma and Borderline Personality Disorder, and also works frequently with people with anxiety, depression, work/study stress and adjustment issues.

Luke has a strong evidence based approach and is trained in multiple therapeutic approaches, including CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy and EMDR. He has a warm and approachable style. He aims to build rapport with his clients and establish a strong working relationship to better explore, understand and resolve any psychological concerns they may have.
