Meg Houtzaager

Clinical Psychologist

Meg completed her undergraduate training at the University of Sydney and her postgraduate training at the University of Western Sydney. She has undertaken advanced courses in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness.

Meg holds national registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. She is authorized to provide clinical psychological services under Medicare.

Clinical Experience
Meg received her training at Wesley Hospital outpatient services, Westmead Hospital Eating Disorder Day Patient unit, and the Albion St Centre, Darlinghurst. She has worked at Wesley Private Hospital with inpatients providing group therapy, and with outpatients running day therapy programmes, and has experience working elsewhere in private practice. As well as working for Sydney Clinical Psychology Meg currently works for Wesley Private Hospital where she co-facilitates an outpatient DBT programme for patients with personality disorders. Meg has experience assisting people with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD and personality disorders.
