Danielle McHugh

Clinical Psychologist

Danielle completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney and her postgraduate degree at the University of Western Sydney. She has undertaken further advanced training in sexual assault counselling. She has also received training at Wesley Hospital Inpatient Services; the neuropsychology clinic of RPA, which included running a group program on coping and managing memory problems resulting from brain injury; and NSW Health Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.

Danielle holds national registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. She is authorized to provide clinical psychological services under Medicare, and is a member of The Australian Clinical Psychology Association.

Clinical Experience
Danielle’s clinical experience spans working with adults and adolescents. Her work with adults has included work in the fields of drug and alcohol, childhood trauma, personality issues, mental health, anxiety, and depression. Danielle’s work with adolescents, and their families, has centered around behavioural issues, trauma and anxiety. She has extensive experience working with adolescents who have a history of psychological trauma, and currently also works with NSW Health providing services for adolescents and their families.
